Nail designs prior to the blog

Be warned these pictures were all taken with an iphone - apologies for the neglect of my Nikon here.

Quick mid week mani a few weeks ago. This polish is perfect, quick but very effective. And of course I had been using Nail Envy for the strength. The polish is L'oreal 'pop the bubbles' 142. It's the first L'oreal I've had and I really like it. Leaves a really cool sandpaper feel to it too.
Defo recommend.

A summer creation, an experiment with the tiny tape - which is so much harder to use than it looks! I got it on ebay for pennies, in so many colours. The only problem with this mani was that the tape came off so quickly. But I think that was down to me and the first experiment. The colour is Essie - Mint Apple Candy. One of my favourite colours of all time. Goes so well with a pale skin tone like mine (even in summer)
Love, love, love this. Can't wait to recreate.

This design was inspired by 'Cass Gooner' on Instagram. Her stuff is amazing, I strive to be as talented as her. I have seen so many Cath Kidson inspired mani's so thought I would try one out. I did this so long ago I can't remember what base I used but Essie - Mint Apple Candy would definitely work. For all the details - OPI - My Boyfriend Scales Walls. OPI - Kiss Me On My Tulips. Barry M - Strawberry and Nina Ultra Pro - Leaf Me Alone.
Also, don't you just love OPI's colour names!

This one is a close up of a super easy mani that will get you so many compliments because it looks so hard to do, but it really isn't! I love any flower
design so will do a pictorial for this soon. For this I used... Barry M - Strawberry for the base. OPI - Kiss Me On My Tulips. Models Own Pro - French White. And Nina Ultra Pro - Leaf Me Alone. They are basically the same as the Cath Kidson design - the colours just work too good together!

Enough of all the summer mani's. This one was only a few weeks after Christmas - I got a lot of polish for Christmas! This is OPI's Liquid Sand - My Current Crush with Essie - Set in Stones. These are two of my all time fave polishes. The liquid sand is so cool definitely recommend it. It's a bit pricey but I got mine from TK Maxx.
They sell OPI for such decent prices - so get yourself one!
